The clock’s readjusted even if you haven’t. With the sun on our side, it’s time to start thinking about summer. Better yet, it’s time to start thinking about where you want to go. Whether you’ve got cash flowing in or are counting your blessings, if there is a will, there is a way.

Because, why not?

So many people put off traveling because of work, school, or their career. Using your vacation days will not kill you. It might even make you happier. Your employer will survive. Life will still be here when you get back.

Celebrate your sense of adventure.

Traveling makes you feel alive. Whether you’re exploring new cuisine, relaxing on a beach, hiking ancient ruins, or marrying the bell boy in Vegas, a break from your normal routine satisfies that urge to get away for a while.

It’s time to break up the monotony of the year.

Usually there is a holiday break of some sort, then we wait the rest of the year to see it again. Cut that wait time in half. Go somewhere you’ve always wanted to go and relax or explore. Tailor your trip to you.

It’s far enough from the holiday break that you’ve been able to save money.

Hypothetically optimistic, I know. Besides birthdays and pop up expenses, it might be a feasible time of year to break the bank on a trip. Look at your tax return!

Soak in that sunshine.

Vitamin D is good for you. Sure, you might be traveling to another hemisphere, but maybe you wanted to go somewhere cooler.

It’s a popular time to travel, so you might get a friend interested to go with you.

Solo yolo, amirite? Don’t punch me. Traveling by yourself is fun, but there’s nothing like a good friend and comrade in arms to share in the experience. Coordinating with people is a bitch because no one ever wants to make the leap and buy a ticket, but go for it and see who follows through.

The world is so much larger than your apartment.

Also, hypothetical. The world could be a projection of your subconscious and nothing in it could be real. I’m not ruling it out. But on the off chance that everything is as it seems, get out there and see some of it. I mean… if you want… maybe you love your hermit kingdom.

There’s nothing like experiencing a new city.

You’ll be interacting within different cultures, talking with new people, and walking around a new area to you. The opportunity to push your understanding and experience of the world is eye opening and fun. You’ll learn something about yourself and about other places.

Travel while you’re young.

There are so many places to go to. The options are limitless, but your time on earth is not. Don’t save your dream vacation for later. Travel this summer. Which brings us to…

There is no time like now.

Travel is such an eye-opening endeavour, especially when done in a way that doesn’t have too many predeterined plans, but you are willing to immerse yourself in somewhere you’ve never been and open to all the wonderful people you may meet.

I love to travel! It gives me so much, I get to see so many new and different things each time I leave my country behind. The experiences you are left with after, and all the impressions, is something that I would not trade for anything in the world. I really encourage everybody to take some time off their daily life and travel to somewhere you haven’t been before 🙂
